Seniors Day Thursday 23 August 2018 by Anne Panitz

Step back in time.

The Gold Coast Hinterland Heritage Museum is celebrating Seniors Week on Thursday 23 August 2018.The museum will be open from 10am to 2pm.

Seniors are admitted free for the day while adult admission is $5.

History lovers can learn more about the heritage of the Gold Coast Hinterland with the help of volunteers at a fascinating range of displays. Most of the displays are donated by pioneering families of the Gold Coast and so have some fascinating stories attached to them. We love to share these with our visitors.

Devonshire morning tea will be available from 10am to 12 noon for all to enjoy. This is at no charge for seniors. Enjoy a Devonshire tea on the veranda with wonderful views of the hinterland.

Come and step back into time and revive memories of items used in the past or even grandparents time.

The Spinners and Weavers Group will be joining us and displaying their skills on the veranda of Okey House. The Antique Auto Club have also made available cars for a display in our grounds.

The Museum is in the Mudgeeraba Heritage Centre, 238 Mudgeeraba Road Mudgeeraba.
